Crayfish fishing
The crayfish fishing season starts in mid-August and lasts for about three weeks. You need a fishing permit to fish for crayfish, including in Lake Mälaren.
Buy a crayfish fishing permit
You can buy a crayfish fishing permit on the iFiske website. There you will also find information about fishing waters in Lake Mälaren and inland lakes, fishing seasons, and the rules for crayfish fishing.

You may fish from both the shore and a boat.
